Finlay & Lauren | The Cow Shed Crail
I first met Lauren back in our days of working at Anthropologie together. We would obsess over homeware and candles, plants and decorations, and nothing changed when she started to plan her wedding. Together with the help of The Little White Cow, they transformed The Cow Shed with the vision of 'Jurassic Park without the Dinosaurs'.
Lauren and Finn's day began with a relaxed ceremony and traditional Scottish hand fastening, surrounded by friends, family and greenery in the barn of The Cow Shed. Despite it being a classic Scottish summers day (a wee bit grey and windy), we could enjoy the view out of the large windows onto the back lawn of The Cow Shed, and the sun even came out for some of the afternoon!
While guests enjoyed all the venue's beautiful, quirky details and canapés by Regis Banqueting, we snuck away down to the sea for a wander in the sun. Crail is a special place for Lauren and Finn so they showed me around all their familiar spots of the coast.
Warm family speeches opened a dinner of Steak, wine and creme brûlée and the evening festivities continued with a tattoo station, dancing and (despite a little bit of drizzle) enjoying the surrounds of The Cow Shed, lit by festoon lights.
I absolutely loved being a part of such a creative, relaxed wedding day. Thanks to The Cow Shed for such a warm welcome and a beautiful day!
