Tim & Emily, Outdoor English country marquee wedding

Tim and Emily's wedding took place in the tiny village of Stretton, just outside Peterborough. With everything in walking distance, we had the perfect day of sunshine to make the most of the beauty of the countryside surroundings. I arrived on Friday night to find the bridal party busy decorating the marquee which was in the middle of the field behind Emily's house. A Pinterest dream, the place was decorated with greenery, classy white table settings and a hay bale lined outdoor seating area where guests could relax by fire pits in the evening.

Whilst the boys put the finishing touches to the marquee on the morning of the wedding, the girls relaxed and got ready at Emily's home. A shout out to Emily Millar Make-up who made the journey from Edinburgh to do an amazing job on the girls.

From Emily's home we walked down through the village, greeted by the residents who had worked hard all year planning and planting flowers in all the available spaces to bloom in time for the wedding. After an emotional ceremony in the local parish church we made use of the beautiful gardens in the area, sneaking around to find interesting walls and abundant cherry blossom trees.

The party was in full swing when we arrived at the marquee (party tent) and we enjoyed nerf gun fights, sharing platters, more emotional speeches and later some incredible shapes being thrown on the dance-floor.

A huge congratulations to Tim & Emily, you guys are flipping amazing.

And a special shout out to Oscar who was once again, a great second shooter and all around top guy.
